This unique area of Gothic and Renaissance architecture (Old Lyon's urban development mainly took place in the 15th and 16th centuries) has been chosen by UNESCO as World Heritage. It covers 24 hectares along the banks of the river Saone. After visiting the gothic cathedral, we will wander through the narrow cobbled streets and traboules: these famous covered passageways going from one street to the next via corridors through houses hide superbly renovated architectural treasures (inner courtyards, galleries à l'italienne, spiral staircases, etc.). The dinner gala will take place at the Brasserie Georges, a famous restaurant that is both a historic monument and one of the high points of gastronomy in Lyon. In existence since 1836, the Brasserie Georges is renowned for the majesty of its architecture, its impeccable service and of course, the quality of its cuisine and beer.
