How to get to Lyon

• From Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) to Lyon

Exit Terminal 1 and take a Satobus (airport shuttle bus) to Part-Dieu train station (30 mn) or Perrache train station (50 mn). Frequency: 20 mn.

There are 4 low cost airlines serving Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport: Easyjet and Thomsonfly for England, Atlas Blue for Marocco, and Blue Air for Romania.

• From Paris-Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Get to the TGV train station. A TGV takes you straight to either Lyon train station of Part-Dieu (first and best stop) or Perrache (second stop) in two hours. You can also take the RER B line (regional metro) to Paris (45 mn) and catch a TGV from Gare de Lyon to Lyon Part-Dieu or Lyon Perrache. Get off at RER B stop 'Châtelet-Les Halles' and then take the RER A to Gare de Lyon for 1 stop (RER map available here). TGV frequency: one hour. Last departure at 10:00 PM. (BE AWARE THAT GARE DE LYON IS IN PARIS!)

• From Paris-Orly Airport (ORY)

Connect to Gare de Lyon by bus, metro or taxi. The airport is indirectly connected to Paris downtown by the Orlyval (automatic metro), a short 8-minute hop to the RER station 'Antony' in the suburb of Arceuil. From there you can take the RER B line north, directly into the heart of Paris. The journey takes about 35 minutes to reach the 'Châtelet-Les Halles' stop, where you can take the RER A for 1 stop to Gare de Lyon.

• From Geneva

Take a train to Lyon Part-Dieu or Lyon Perrache (1 hour and 30 mn).

How to get to the conference site

The conference will be held in the convention center (Centre des Congrès) which is an events complex located in exceptional surroundings between the Rhône and the Parc de la Tête d'Or, not so far from Lyon Doua Campus. To reach the Centre des Congrès from downtown:

Take bus line 58 from Bellecour square, this bus reaches the Cité Internationale within 12 minutes and has several stops downtown, including Pont Guillotière, Cordeliers and Hôtel de Ville.

From TGV Part-Dieu train station: the bus line C1 reaches the Cité Internationale in about 10 minutes.

From Jean Macé metro station: The bus line 4 reaches the Cité Internationale within 20 minutes.
